Chronograph
It represents the "normal", classic watch and it is almost exclusively used to fulfill the function it is designed for: to show the correct time.

Another fundamental requirement is the movement, the "heart" of the watch. It can be quartz (moved by a battery) or automatic (more valuable, because designed to work through the movement of tiny internal works).
