Akerfalk
The Akerfalk project started almost 4 years ago. At first, it was only a discussion between three friends about their common passion for timepieces. As these discussions progressed, however, the project began to gain traction, and we started to focus on how most modern watches in today’s market all shared a common generic design. We had to find a space in the market with something unique that would set us apart from the crowd. We are inspired by classic Swedish design, and we admire brands like Fjällräven, Svenskt Tenn and Volvo Automobiles, just to name a few. It is the overwhelming majesty of Sweden’s natural beauty that permeates our very being and finds itself expressed in all that we create. Timeless design is design that remains attractive as the days, months, years, and decades pass. We are confident that the First Season watch will still be attractive 15 years from now, just like our grandparents vintage design watches that still feels timeless and interesting now.

Alexander Hi-Tek
Alexander Tasou, designer of Hi Tek Designs, started what he calls his "project" from as early as the 80's, bringing industrial design and surrealism to his accessories. Watches, sunglasses, hats, masks, belts, bags or briefcases, any of his designs or accessories, are never "in" or "out" of fashion. Alexander's timeless designs can be worn by either gender throughout decades and will always make a statement, will always look ahead of time, the designs edgy and stand out. Integrating the past, even the ancient, with the distant future, nowadays called "Steampunk" is Alexander's passion. Alexander's designs have been used by the film industry, mainly in science fiction films, and his accessories used by famous artists in the music industry either for performance, video shoot or magazine covers. The name Dagger Axe (戈 - Gē) originates from an ancient, sharp, and decisive weapon. To us, it represents the sharp eye of a photographer and the decisive cut of a designer.
The Lingo Story Dagger Axe was born in the studio of Lingo, a professional photographer, product designer, and lifelong watch enthusiast. After years of capturing the world's most luxurious timepieces through his camera lens, Lingo felt a disconnect. He saw watches that were beautiful but overpriced, or affordable but lacked soul.
He decided to bridge that gap.
"I don't design products; I design subjects for my lens," Lingo says. Every Dagger Axe timepiece is born from a sketch, tested by a collector's high standards, and finally approved through the unforgiving eye of a camera. In 2015, during a trip to a small island off the coast of Bahrain, three childhood friends realized they were each missing a particular piece from their individual collections of luxury timepieces. It wasn’t about brand, shape, size, or color. It was about purpose! Avid travelers, they often found themselves in various parts of the world, faced with unexpected adventures. They needed a verstile watch with unique, reliable, and durable style. A timepiece that could go anywhere and do anything; a timepiece that could stand up to any challenge they’d throw at it. They immediately began designing and before their trip had even ended, although the name had not yet been given, Nuun was conceived! Over the next six months, the trio would design four additional dials, each inspired by the Arabian land in which they were born and raised. Yearning to break out of the conformity that surrounded them, they envisioned a watch with no boundaries. A celebration of tradition and culture presented with the carefree elegance of island life. They journied around the world in search of a manufacturer that could deliver sustainable materials at an affordable price bound together by high quality manufacturing. After several rounds of enhancements to initial samples, a manufacturer was finally selected. The watch was perfect and their dream had been brought to life. But now what to call it? Thinking back to where it all began, on that small island off the coast of Bahrain, called Nuun Island. The name would be a tribute to where it all began, with an obvious connection to the time of day between morning and afternoon; noon. And with that, Nuun Official was born!

Projects Watches
For nearly 25 year The Markuse Corporation/Projects has dedicated itself to celebrating the role architecture and design play in our daily lives. From its very first watches, designed by icons of twentieth century architecture, Projects has brought a new face to the telling of time. Each year brings new designs for an ever-evolving market. With an emphasis on a three-dimensional approach that is part and parcel of the architectural eye, watches in this group incorporate color and structure, each element of the watch building on the foundation of a carefully crafted case. Brought into play is the architect’s “macro” understanding of what it takes to build a piece of “architecture you can wear,” not unlike the planning process used in a building structure. Perhaps no project best exemplifies design icons of the 20th century and their work than our BUILDING TIMEPIECES project launched in 1998. Twenty architects, each of whom who had designed a museum or performing arts center, were invited to translate that the design into a watch, either literally or symbolically. The collection is as varied and textured as the buildings that inspired the watches.

We worked tirelessly to design and produce watches with energy-independent movements, ensuring that our watches would be reliable and low-maintenance. We also researched and developed our designs to be true to the classic military style, yet modern and rugged enough to withstand the demands of daily life.

A few years ago, a veteran watchmaker was struck by the beauty and simplicity of military watches from nearly 100 years back, and set out to create a modern watch with the same classic vintage appeal. Shortly after World War 1, civilians started wearing the newly popular ‘wristwatches’ that military officers had been relying on for on-the-spot accuracy. The originals were purpose-built, meant to be reliable in harsh conditions, with the convenience of a leather wrist strap for accessibility in the trenches. Those servicemen who proudly wore their new wristwatches when they returned home set the trend for generations to come. Today, Szanto has re-imagined watch designs from the early 20th century up to the 1970s, and gone well beyond military designs. Szanto’s vintage style watches evoke the feeling of a time gone by, when making top-notch products was the standard. Szanto uses the highest quality workmanship, and stands behind every watch, crafting each one for outstanding fit, finish, and style. A watch governed by electricity is not new. However, it is very rare to highlight the technicality of an "electric" watch. Having an approach where you update the electronics (the electrical components, the printed circuit, or the coil of the quartz movement) seems obvious, like a mechanical watch that highlights the inner workings of its movement.
This approach makes it possible to design more qualitative and more emotional products. We need to feel a watch "live", "turn" and understand how it works.
We are addressing first of all a scientific spirit which has a real sense of creativity.
A curious spirit of the world which surrounds him with an insatiable thirst to understand and an attraction for new technologies, in particular in mechanics, electronics,
