The concept of human missions to Mars is nothing new in human history; the feasibility of such endeavors has been under study since the 1950s. This goal is shared by numerous government space agencies, including NASA and ESA. In 2010, NASA even prioritized this project over lunar missions, setting a target for a crewed mission to Mars between 2030 and 2040.

The dial is undoubtedly the most ambitious element of the "Mars Mission" model. At its center stands a three-dimensional reproduction of Mars, coated with red Swiss Super-LumiNova luminescent material. After absorbing light, the 3D Mars emits a reddish glow in the dark, reminiscent of the color of iron. The sphere representing the planet is crafted from aluminum and shaped using embossing techniques to create an irregular, textured surface. The dial is surrounded by three-dimensional indices that add a dynamic feel to the watch. The outer ring of the dial features an irregular brushed finish combined with a vintage effect, evoking the rocky appearance of Mars.
